The KC Area Youth Jazz program was founded in 2019 as a youth jazz artist fellowship program. Making an album, creating products to subsidize the art being created, and performing concerts in the community are among the endeavors KC Area Youth Jazz Fellows engage during their spring and summer seasons each year.
